Looking for effective behaviour support training in Education, Disability, Aged Care, or Health settings? Look no further than Team Teach Training Options. Our person-centred training is customised to your needs and equips your team with a toolkit of skills and knowledge to create a positive behaviour culture.

Our training explores practical strategies to nurture positive behaviour environments, develop proactive responses, reduce conflict and crisis, and build and restore positive relationships. We focus on reducing risk and restraint and minimising restrictive practices while supporting distressed individuals. Our approach is underpinned by the core values of dignity, understanding and respect.

Here’s how it works:

  1. We discuss the needs of your setting.
  2. We conduct a training needs analysis.
  3. We create a personalised Level 1, Level 2 or Advanced Modules training course to equip everyone with the confidence and strategies needed to support positive behaviour cultures.

Our training also includes a focus on a trauma-informed approach to understanding behaviour, and identifying risk behaviours and responding to distressed individuals. We offer reasonable, proportionate and necessary risk-assessed physical interventions for settings that require it.

We also offer a Train-the-Trainer course option for you to create your own in-house behaviour trainers. These trainers can cascade Team Teach training to all of the staff within your organisation.

Not sure what training you need? Contact us today to discuss the best training option for your setting. We’ll work with you to create a customised training programme that meets the needs of your organisation.

Physical responses are underpinned by values and principles that fit within a culture and ethos of positive educative care. There is an emphasis on individual human rights, responsibilities, choices and consequences.
The key message being that 95% OR MORE of all incidents should be managed without recourse to physical interventions. Following training there should be a decrease in the amount of incidents involving the use of physical interventions. The emphasis is on protecting and promoting positive relationships between service providers and users.
